Smeg are a leading Italian manufacturer of vintage style fridges, mixers, toasters and cooking utensils. Check out the Fiat 500 fridge as well, what’s not to love! Their 1950s designs have become hugely popular in the UK. For this event Smeg not only cooked out in the open, making pizza, but they also brought along a classic caravan which was actually a giant photo booth, helping to create memories of the day for members of the public.
We interviewed Smeg at the classic vintage cycle festival Eroica Britannia in the beautiful Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. Held over three days, this is only the second year that Eroica Britannia has taken place and over 50,000 people came along! There’s also a vintage cycle race which has to be seen to be believed. Check our official video (coming soon) by following us on Twitter.
Creating a festival video like this requires great b-roll as well as a good interviewer. You’ll also see we use two cameras for the interview to give that “professional” look from a mid shot to a close up. The Creative Grid drone also made an appearance with a panning shot across the festival from the air. You’ll see more of our new toy in the official video for the festival.
